ESL Shipping is hiring summer sailors to sail as
WORK APPRENTICE, DECK (WAD)
or
WORK APPRENTICE, ENGINE (WAE)
between 1st of May and 30th of September.
No Certificate of Competence (CoC) is required, only Certificates of Proficiency (CoP) as follows:
- Basic Safety STCW A-VI/1
- Fire prevention and fire fighting A-VI/1-2
and in addition
- passport
- seafarer's passport
- medical certificate
The working language onboard our vessels is English and therefore fluency in written and spoken English is required. Fluency in Finnish or Swedish is considered as a merit.
