Last year was exceptional for M/S Steel since it carried a record-breaking amount of cargo for its clients. The vessel made altogether over 150 voyages carrying almost 2 050 000 mts. Two key factors for its success were uncompromising work of the crew and M/S Steel's ability to move in harbors effortlessly due to its well-structured design. M/S Steel operates in the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Bothnia pushing barges. High speed in the sea and time efficiency in the harbor, since berthing, unberthing, and exchanging barges is not needed, increase the operational efficiency of the vessel. M/S Steel was built in 1987 thus celebrating its 30-year anniversary this year.
