High season for dockings

ESL Shipping 25.07.2016

During the current summer season, five out of 14 vessel units have completed scheduled dockings. The latest vessel in the dock was Tali, our 13,000 dwt general cargo ship. She was dry-docked in Oresund Dry Docks in Landskrona, Sweden for a scheduled maintenance work in mid-July.

In addition to standard work done during dry dock, some additional work was done as well. Shaft seal was changed to new type and control system of main propeller and bow thrusters was updated.

One of the cranes was lifted away from its base in order to change a slewing bearing.

All cargo holds were sandblasted and painted throughout.
